Careers - Senior Ruby/Rails Developer
Exco Ventures, LLC is a technology consulting company based in New York that is currently focusing on providing Web development and advisory services. Our clients range from startups to established companies and are based in the New York and Boston.
We are currently looking for a senior Rails developer with experience in both model design and development. You will have a major role in developing one of our client’s applications and also have a chance to apply your data modeling skills.
Because Exco Ventures is small and growing, you will get to have a lot of input on the direction of the business. This is a chance not only to do technical development, but do business development work as well and help build a consulting practice.
Our team primarily looking for experience that includes:
- More than 2 years of working with Ruby
- More than 1 year of working with Rails
- Work with relational databases and SQL
- Experience using postgreSQL and mySQL (more emphasis on postgreSQL)
- Designing database models
- Good understanding of software engineering principles
